FUN DIVES

Diving in a high-altitude, freshwater volcanic lake provides a unique experience for novice and seasoned divers alike! We keep groups small and relaxed, with bottom times averaging around 45 minutes. Enjoy one or two fun dives along the shoreline of this exciting place.  One dive is $45 and a two tank dive is $79-

If you do two dives, you are eligible for an Altitude Diver certification for only $125!

Haven’t dived in a while?

No problem – a refresher is just a further $15! One of our instructors will go over equipment set up and function, along with a theory review and a few exercises at the beginning of the dive to make sure you are comfortable and safe in the water.

Some of our Dive Sites

El Arbol

Starting in the shallows we descend past a ghost like sunken tree, follow a volcanic wall and swim between giant boulders, before shallowing up amongst flooded docks and walls.

Casa Del Mundo

Casa Del Mundo might as well be our most impressive wall dive. A golden layer of algae on the volcanic rock creates an impressive atmosphere. Go as deep as your certification, conditions, and training allows and you will still be far, far away from the bottom – guaranteed!

Punta Caliente

A lovely bay with some of the best volcanic formations. Pyramid shaped rocks and points that extend deep down into the lake. We swim past sunken docks and abandoned gardens to a hidden hot spot, before ending at a flooded house.

Punta De Loma

This dive starts on one side of the point amongst flooded terraces and an underwater dock and ends on the other in the great volcanic scenery. In between drop down to 20 meters and look for big crabs under the giant volcanic boulders.

Rambo II

A more advanced wall dive with a vertical swim through. Starting at 22m this chimney type space is only big enough for one diver at a time. Go through it, and emerge at the other end at 15m. Then continue up past volcanic formations and walls, plants fish and crabs.

Agua Caliente

Descend to 18m follwoing a fissure to cook an egg over volcanic hot vents, whilst warming our hands in the hot mud. There is no other dive site in the lake where you can see so many fish.

Arthur Kennedys

On the cliff above the site sits an impressive house. Under the water this is a site of breathtaking cliffs, overhangs, walls and volcanic scenery. A great place to dive a little deeper, but the volcanic scenery is great shallow too.
